I started a fellowship at AMAL a few weeks ago. I already have some planned goals in my mind but don’t know how to start and move toward achieving my goals. AMAL has provided a lot of opportunities so far to express ourselves. I’m trying to seize that opportunity and express my plans to achieve my goals by using this platform
1st of all I would like to share the directions provided by AMAL to me for moving towards my goal , which i’m going share later in the article
I started by choosing the first goal of my life journey that is
‘’· I want to complete my Ph.D. in Mathematics to become a Professor of mathematics who could teach mathematics in a way that could enable the students to answer the question if someone asks where math uses’’
I spend most of the time with my teachers and sharing their office work too, whenever I see the status and teaching way of my teachers always a desire comes to my mind that why I’m Nasir Ali … why I’m not Dr. Nasir Ali .. When I will be called Dr. Nasir Ali these questions motivate me and enable me to look forward and find the path that could make me who I want to be one day.
But while moving toward the goal, there are always some hurdles. I’m also going through that phase I want to do my Ph.D. on scholarship there is some hard work need. Ph.D. is a degree that needs a huge amount for self-study. I’m 25 years old there are some responsibilities for me that include being a part of my family's livelihood. As a mixture of all these situations, I’m focusing on achieving my goal.
Now a days I’m trying to complete my MS Mathematics thesis as soon as possible and applying to different universities to at least get familiar with the admission tests and interviews. The next step is to gain admission to well repute university for Ph.D. with a scholarship.
