This blog is all about my journey with AMAL Academy. It was my dream since 2018 when I was about to complete my graduation in mathematics, Finally, I got selected at AMAL in the spring 2020 fellowship and I can’t express how happy I felt when I come to know that I will be a part of the Fellowship finally.
Before the start of the fellowship, I was a little bit confused because I don’t have the skills like leadership, confidence, communication, and professional skills. During my fellowship, we go through very worthy Project Works, which will develop massive qualities in you, change my perspective about my goals, and allow me to think clearly about what I want in life. I found an immense difference in me after fellowship. I was reluctant to communicate with people but because of this fellowship now I can interact with so many people very easily. Most importantly, I don’t like working in teamwork, But the AMAL fellowship has enabled me to adjust in teams and be a team player

I would like to appreciate the efforts of Mam Sehar Galid(PM) and Mam Mishal (APM). The start of the fellowship was focused on knowing yourself better. And gradually we moved to the depths of knowing about our future goals and getting a clearer idea about what I want to achieve as a career. During the first week after attending online sessions, I started feeling the change in myself. I started having a different vision about my future and steps that I might be taking to improve myself in all fields of life.
I hesitate to come in front of the camera and speak out but the AMAL fellowship has encouraged me and enable me to overcome this problem.

Impacts of Amal Fellowship on My Life:
This fellowship has an uncountable positive impact on my life. It completely changed my perception regarding dream successful life and self-discovery. It made me realize the importance of knowing your abilities. Some of the gifts, that I got from the Amal Fellowship are:
- Positivity:
In the most recent online course, we learned about the 5 secrets of positive thinking that changed my thoughts entirely.
2. Coming out of My Comfort-Zone:
Having an extra full-time activity either then my studies made me pushed out through my comfort zone and I started learning to manage many things at a time. And I realized that it is very important to move out of your comfort zone if you want to achieve your dreams in your life.
3. Professional Development:
Learning some really important professional skills, gave me an insight into the important teachings, for example, leadership, teamwork, business writing skills, showing gratitude, and being positive.
4. Never Give up:
The motivation to never stop and give up on your dreams is what I get through this fellowship journey. now I have learned that every failure leads you one step ahead towards success.
Sadly, this fellowship is ending in about 2 weeks, and I will be missing the weekend sessions, all the laughter, discussions, and all my fellows. In the end, I would like to Thank Amal again for providing a platform for fresh graduates to learn important professional skills that are not taught in our educational institutes.
